man, griswalds rock. makes 3' drops to flat on a rigid seem like nothing now that I'm more used to it. I had ruffian lockons before and they hurt like hell in comparison. Now it feels like i got 2" of suspension lol.

Small bump is spring pressure, Bottom out is reservoir pressure/volume relationship. Totally different. It can be done. It might not feel like a 6 inch trail bike but it can happen.
The commencal meta 4x would be another to look at

The Double was great (5'7"). I felt comfortable on it the first time I hopped on. It's definitely not plush suspension and if you set the shock with too little air you will blow through and bottom out. The 2010 RP23 may be better though. The bike is what it is. Simply takes a bit of the hit away. Have you considered the SX? That has a better suspension design and may be what you are after.

he came out of a highschool w/ bitchy "fat & flat" asian girls as he put it, and then first party at waterloo, girls start grinding him on the dance floor and one drunk girl txts him to go to her room cause she was "feeling lonely" He showed me the txt too, I LMFAO. He was upset he chickened out though, which is "good news" i tell him, "disappointing yes, but at least you didn't come back with lumps growing on your balls"

Oil weight doesnt have toooo much effect in the forks with MoCo. But too MUCH oil does. The way you can check (other than measuring it) is to take the damper out, then move the lever on the damper to lock, then slide the damper back in. When the end of the damper touches the oil surface, it wont want to go down. this point should be such that JUST the threaded point of the damper is exposed above the crowns threads. Ok, so a few mm over doesnt hurt, but if it sticks out a lot, theres too much oil.
